This is a 3.5-star Hidato puzzle.

There are 62 white cells in this puzzle.

Edit as of 2011/06/09: Fixed multiple solutions.

This man is hanged because he didn’t manage to guess the three-letter word. You will also be hanged by not completing this puzzle. Just kidding.

This puzzle is quite a little difficult. Black cells are very effective to force some paths. And do you expect the 62 to be there instead of anywhere else that seems more “obvious”? 😛

You might have forgotten to put a clue in the 3 by 3 block of white cells on the left. I have at least 4 solutions, and that was with making an unnecessary assumption about the 32 being on the bottom row.

For the parts that were determined this seemed a bit easier than 29, with large portions of the path forced by their distance (the 6 and 18 in particular).

Well, yeah, I think I have multiple solutions that I overlooked before, but I only find two. Can you e-mail me about all solutions you found?

Oh, okay, after mathgrant told me about multiple solutions…

    R9C2 is 32.

Let’s see if it fixes things out (I’m going to sleep here, obviously no access to my puzzle book).
